Every year the residents of Franklin Road light up their houses for everyone to enjoy over the Christmas period. They turn on at 7.30pm each night from the 7th of December and stay on until 10pm.

The Counties Energy Christmas Lights - Trains at Night event is back for 2024 and will see the charitable organisation's trains, station and buildings dressed in Christmas lights, a special Christmas Express train service, visits from Santa, a Christmas market and much more.

Christmas Sailing with Mrs Claus

Passengers will get a chance to talk to Mrs Claus as she sings and entertains with her special Christmas cheer. Goody bag, scavenger hunt and a Polaroid snapped by mischievous elf included.

Twilight Christmas at Howick Historical Village 2024

Wander through festively decorated cottages and grounds staged with trees, garlands, and stockings hung by the fire with care! Enjoy the magic of our Christmas lights nestled amongst the decorations as the sun goes down.
