OUR STORY

KEMURI HI-FI is a premium Vinyl, Whisky, Cocktail & Champagne lounge. 

Designed by two best friends (JC & Vee) with a combined 50+ years experience, working both in NZ and internationally, in the bar and music industries. 

Both sharing a love for socializing, drinking great drinks and listening to good music 

Inspired by their time living & working in the UK along with travel to Japan & USA, they have teamed up with local hospitality experts to create a unique high-end Cocktail, Whisky, Vinyl lounge for Auckland’s CBD. 

Hidden in the basement at 1 Queen Street, Auckland this intimate space has been meticulously designed. Boasting a bespoke ‘High-Fidelity Soundsystem’ designed by Aotearoa’s finest Tub’s Audio. KEMURI HI-FI also features acoustic treatment and records curated from Vee’s personal record collection. The custom bar is complimented with a world class drinks program featuring immaculate cocktails, and an extensive whisky range including many bottles from JC’s personal collection.
