The Auckland Wooden Boat Festival acknowledges our connections to maritime history, from pre-European arrival through to the working waterfront of today, the festival is about celebrating Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s history and present.
Based in Wynyard quarter, the centre of Auckland’s historical working waterfront and the thriving Westhaven precinct, the festival will celebrates Aotearoa New Zealand’s significant maritime heritage alongside the many stories represented within Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

Drive to Wynyard Quarter and park in one of the nearby parking lots or take a bus, train, or ferry to Auckland's city centre and then walk to Wynyard Quarter.

If you are driving here, you can get free parking for your first hour at Jellicoe Street car park.
Accessibility Huarahi ngāwari
Wheelchair users may find the uneven concrete prommenade difficult to traverse. Sticking to the paths will provide easy access to the area.
