The Great Waka Ama Race is one of Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland’s biggest sporting events of the year! Student teams represent their faculty and battle it out paddling on the water overlooking Tāmaki Makaurau's iconic surroundings in Okahu Bay. Spectators are encouraged to come along and cheer on the teams! The winning team will travel to Hawaii to represent University of Auckland at the Queen Lili’uokalani Canoe Race in September!
