Featuring stunning renditions of famous classic masterpieces, such as The Hall of the Mountain King, Danse Macabre, Swan Lake,… and Daniels neoclassical compositions of his album Reconnection. Creating a Bridge Between Cultures, Daniel and Beth share the stage with the Polynesian musical hotpot that is Musika Collective, directed by Samoan New Zealand composer Dr Matatamua Opeloge Ah Sam and with local Emerging Local Guest Artists, string quartet and pianist.
Blending classical elegance with contemporary innovation, Daniel Verstappen has performed at notable events, to the Belgian King and Queen at World Expo in Dubai, and with international artists such as Andrea Bocelli and Ennio Morricone.
Starting playing the piano at the age of 5, his goal is to connect generations with each other and to highlight the classical piano in modern and innovative ways, thereby inspiring young people.
Beth is a composer, producer and accomplished multi-instrumentalist based in Belgium. Born in the UK she studied violin, saxophone and piano, earning cum laude at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music in London. As an multi-instrumentalist, Beth has performed around the world as a solo instrumentalist as well as part of ensembles and orchestras. Beth is proud to be returning to Australia and New Zealand as part of the Reconnection World Tour, which crossing Australia, New-Zealand, Europe and the USA.
