Located in the heart of Eden Terrace, The Powerstation is a wicked spot for live music gigs and good times.
Whether you're on the hunt for a night of classic kiwi tunes, or a more chilled out atmosphere, The Powerstation has got you sorted.
The venue has hosted some of the biggest names in music including The Beastie Boys, Ramones, Soundgarden, the Pixies, Marilyn Manson, Radiohead, Snoop Dogg, and many more. Some recent high-profile shows include Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Flying Lotus, Wolf Alice and more.
The venue itself is a pretty cool place - it's got a bit of a retro feel to it, with a great sound system and lighting. It is small enough so that you can see the artists playing on stage from anywhere, but big enough so your eardrums don't burst!
On top of that, the bar staff are always really friendly and up for a bit of banter. Plus, they've got a great range behind the bar, so you'll be sorted for a few of your favourite bevvies.

Arrive early for a good spot near the stage, then make a night of it with dinner or a drink around Eden Terrace. Galbraith’s Alehouse, Small Gods Taproom and other local spots are within easy walking distance.

The Powerstation is wheelchair accessible, although there is no dedicated wheelchair seating. Arrive early and speak to security, who can help find a suitable spot with a good view of the stage.
