As if bobbing at the edge of Waitematā Harbour, The Cloud offers uninterrupted views of the waterfront and is conveniently located next to the busy ferry terminal at Queen’s Wharf. The wavy 180-metre-long structure depicts the English translation of Aotearoa – “The Land of the Long White Cloud”.
Soak up the harbour scenery at a number of large-scale events hosted at the beloved Auckland landmark, originally built as a fan zone for the Rugby World Cup in 2011. Fill your plate at a food festival or peruse stallholders at an arts show – with room for 6000 people, The Cloud is a firm favourite for expos and conventions.
Only steps away from Commercial Bay and the Britomart precinct, bop on down to The Cloud after a bite to eat at some of Auckland's most popular eateries.
Getting there Te huarahi ki reira
