A unique and spectacular house designed by an architect as their own, nestled in native forest above magnificent Onetangi Beach on Waiheke Island.
With a light and airy open-plan split level layout and unusual angles, it has a wonderfully, sunny living area, which opens onto a balcony with expansive views across the treetops to the sea. A wood burning stove as well as a heatpump, mean this is a warm and comfortable house all year round.
Up a few stairs is a spacious dining area, and a large well-equipped kitchen, with a magnificent natural wooden-topped workbench/island. This opens onto a further balcony, perched high up in the trees, with amazing views out to sea, with an outside table, chairs, sun umbrella and a gas BBQ.
