Nestled in the heart of the Wynyard Quarter, Silo Park is an exciting destination that promises a memorable day out with your loved ones. Its name is derived from the six towering silos that once stored cement and have since been transformed into a remarkable outdoor space. Step inside Silo 6, and you'll be transported into a world of awe-inspiring art exhibitions, while Silo 7 bursts into life at night as it doubles as a unique outdoor movie theatre, projecting films onto its walls.
The park is brimming with an array of activities and events that cater to every taste and preference. Whether you're a film buff, music enthusiast, foodie or fitness enthusiast, there's always something to look forward to at Silo Park.
Silo Park truly comes to life during the summer months, with a bustling array of events, exhibitions, and activations that draw in crowds from all over Auckland. Meanwhile, foodies can delight in exploring the food and craft markets, offering a delectable selection of locally made treats and crafts. Whether you're indulging in Auckland's best street food or taking in the stunning waterfront views, Silo Park is the perfect place to unwind and socialise.
Families can enjoy the playground and climbing frames, while those feeling active can join in a game of basketball or kick a ball around on the grass. If you're looking for a bird's-eye view, take a stroll up the gantry on a clear night to enjoy some fresh air and a breathtaking perspective of the cityscape.
In addition to the fun and festivities, Silo Park is also home to some impressive yachts, including 100-metre superyachts and exquisite old wooden classic yachts berthed in Heritage Landing.
Whether you're visiting in the summer or winter, Silo Park is always buzzing with excitement and activity!
