SeaLink operates a safe, comfortable and reliable vehicle, passenger and freight ferry service to both Waiheke Island and Great Barrier Island. Waiheke - Island of wine is just a short cruise from Half Moon Bay, East Auckland or Wynyard Quarter, Auckland City.
Once you’re there, there’s so much to do. Relax over lunch in a vineyard, taste the island-grown olive oil, plunge into the clear blue waters or soak up the sunshine on the beaches. Waiheke is home to a thriving artistic community too.
SeaLink’s Waiheke Island services depart from Half Moon Bay in East Auckland up to 13 times daily, and Wynyard Quarter, Auckland City with daily departures. Check our website for up to date timetable information.

Town: Our Wynyard Quarter terminal in a 5-10 minute walk from the downtown ferry building., Airport: 27km to Auckland International Airport from Hamer Street., Bus: 2.3km to Skycity Bus Terminal., Parking: If you are taking a vehicle on the ferry there is parking in the terminal. If you are travelling without your vehicle there is no parking on site.
