Rukau Hut brings the authentic taste of the Cook Islands to Auckland, specialising in traditional rukau—taro leaves cooked in rich coconut cream. Founded by Ina Simpson, Rukau Hut offers a variety of dishes, including the popular rukau steak roll, rukau and pork ciabatta, and rukau pies.

Ina's journey began at the Papatoetoe Night Market, and through participation in The Kitchen Project, she expanded her offerings to cater events and markets across Auckland.
