The first Renkon was opened in 2002, located in Auckland CBD. The well-known eating spot was fixed by our young crowd.
Renkon offers meals that are made from traditional Japanese ingredients such as rice, udon, miso, soy sauce, seaweed along with our complimentary tea. We have adapted our meals to suit the Kiwi’s tastes.
From amongst the many Japanese foods, we have selected a menu that suits Kiwis’ tongues, which can be offered at an affordable price. By starting to cook after receiving the order, we can serve hot dishes and continue to operate in an eco-friendly manner with almost no loss of ingredients
