Hallertau Brewery Riverhead

Hallertau Brewery has been the most popular brewery in Riverhead for years, and it's not hard to see why.

The brewery offers a wide selection of beer varieties, local wines, and bubbles. They also serve up delicious foods like wood-fired pizzas, burgers, and small plates to share.

Their beer garden is a great place to relax on a warm summer day or enjoy the cooler weather in the fall when you can sit by their fire pit. You can even take your dog along!

There is nothing better than sipping any of Hallertau Brewery & Restaurant's outstanding artisan beers from New Zealand. 

The well-liked restaurant, which has a prime location in Riverhead, is well-known for its mouthwatering homemade dishes. Some of our favourites are the Krokets made with beef brisket and beer mustard; the margarita pizza made with Clevedon buffalo mozzarella, tomato, and basil; and last but not least, the Jalapeño poppers—they've got a nice kick!

You can also take home a one-litre Keeper, which is a beer bottle that can be filled up again the next time you visit.

The location features a sizable biergarten (beer garden), a playground for kids, and a jam-packed live music schedule of events.

There are plenty of parking spots here, even when it is really busy on the weekend, and there is lots of seating, both indoors and outside, so you will always find somewhere to sit.

Hallertau Brewery is also located in Clevedon, which is 35 minutes' drive from Auckland's CBD and 25 minutes from Auckland International Airport.
