The Due Drop Events Centre, Manukau’s gleaming events hub, is a popular venue for just about every event in the book. Owned and operated by Waka Pacific Trust on behalf of the community, you’ll find a large proportion of Due Drop’s gigs are run by community groups and not-for-profits.
Inside, you’ll find three distinct venues including the Sir Woolf Fisher Arena, the Sir Noel Robinson Conference Centre and the popular BNZ Theatre. Catch a comedy show or watch a one-of-a-kind play in the 600-seat theatre with a built-in proscenium stage – it's the go-to for intimate productions. Love an expo? Browse hundreds of specialty stalls in the indoor arena, with past expos featuring tiny homes and the Auckland South Home Show.
Be sure to behold the eye-catching truss atop the building, inspired by the tāhuhu (ridge pole) of a whare (traditional Māori house). There’s also a sparkling man-made whitewater park, Vector Wero, sitting snuggly next door.
