This lovely park covers almost 5 hectares and boasts picturesque views of the harbour, mature trees, grassy open spaces, and even impressive cliff faces.
But that's not all - the park also features a well-equipped playground with a flying fox and space net, perfect for older children. And with well-connected paths and good access to toilets and the playground, you can explore around. Just be aware that some paths are steep and there are steps in some places.
One of the highlights of Coyle Park is its beach. The beach is tidal, so be sure to check the tide times before you go. But when the tide is mid to high, it's the perfect spot for a refreshing swim.
Getting there Te huarahi ki reira
Getting to the park is easy - there's a car park and bus stop located at the end of Point Chevalier Road near the park entrance.
