Cornwall Park Bistro commands attention just like the expansive parkland that surrounds it. Tucked in the heart of Cornwall Park, Auckland’s urban oasis and working farm, “the Bistro” offers a light-filled atmosphere after a long day exploring leafy trails and paddocks. Soothe your sore muscles with a glass of wine on the sunny patio or bask in the park’s beauty over a gourmet brunch. Parkside dining is always a good idea.
If there’s one thing Cornwall Park Bistro specialises in, it’s high tea. Sip on fragrant loose-leaf tea paired with delicate sandwiches, macarons, buttermilk scones and Devonshire cream (of course!). The best part? It's available six days a week.
With a warm atmosphere and central location, Cornwall Park Bistro is a local fave for day and evening functions of up to 100 guests, with past events including author meet-and-greets for the Auckland Writers Festival. The original upper dining area dates back to 1908, though the Corinth Room tends to steal the show with its park-facing position and gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows.
