View a private collection of contemporary site specific sculpture installed in a coastal native tree environment. The works are by renowned New Zealand sculptors including Bennett, Booth, Dadson, Dawson, Dibble, Dimopoulos, Feu'u, Gentry, Kregar, Hellyar, King, Monro, Montrose, O'Connor, Price, Stringer, Thomson and others.
The growing collection includes over 30 sculptures in aluminium, bronze, concrete, fibre glass, iron, photography, stainles steel, stone and wood - some up to 8m high.
The two hour plus guided walk (in sensible shoes!) is on a 2km track through bush and over farmland with commanding views of the Hauraki Gulf. Enjoy the Gowshed Gallery with its maquettes and library.
