During select Fridays throughout the year, the NZ Sailing Trust enters the yachts in the RNZYS harbour series ‘Rum Races’ held on Auckland Harbour. Join the crew for a Friday Afternoon Race aboard the legendary Steinlager 2 or Lion New Zealand! An awesome and exhilarating experience to celebrate the end of the working week aboard a truly iconic yacht. “Amazing! Everybody should experience Stenlager 2 - better than a Ferrari day!" — Debbie S The Friday afternoon race is a fun 2-3 hour short, sharp and social race against other yachts departing and arriving from Auckland City Viaduct. Meet friends and family in one of the many Viaduct bars and restaurants afterwards to recount your daring deeds!
