Auckland Live Digital Stage

Get ready for a larger-than-life show at the Auckland Live Digital Stage. A cornerstone of Aotea Square since 2011, renowned musicians, jubilant festival performers, and impassioned speakers have been lit by the glow of this huge, outdoor LED screen in the heart of Auckland city. It’s open all year round, and with free, non-ticketed performances, it’s the perfect spot for an impromptu meet-up with your mates or a fun-filled family day out.  

Soak in the buzzing atmosphere of the square with a bite to eat. A favourite eatery next to the stage is the Container in the Square Café. Much like the name suggests, the cherry-red container sits within Aotea Square, offering the chance to grab a tasty snack and a drink before lounging under the shade of a parasol. If you’re after something a bit more substantial, head inside the Aotea Centre to the Terrace Café for pizza, tacos, and more. Food trucks also often make an appearance in the square, so there is sure to be something to tingle your tastebuds.
