Chubby Women, created by critically acclaimed Chinese artist Xu Hongfei, are a striking collection of sculptures that celebrate diverse body types and encourage body positivity. Inspired by the strength, determination, and joy he witnessed in the women’s sevens teams at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Xu captures this spirit in his work. The exhibition will feature chubby women full of humour and free-spirited energy, encouraging people from all backgrounds to live with joy, confidence, and positivity. These statues will be accompanied by an Artist talk from Xu Hongfei on Sunday 26 January 2025.
