A beautiful story about gender fluidity in a school setting. Tangaroa (Te Whare Tawhito o Muriwhenua), is a poi expert, a lecturer at AUT, and was the first non-binary person to perform in the poi section at Te Matatini.

This is a free event as part of the Samesame But Different literary festival, and will include a Q&A with the author.
