Saturday, 11am | Diwali Storytime

Join us for a special Storytime to celebrate Diwali with stories, songs and dance! The will run for 30 mins and is ideal for kids two years and up. Tamariki, parents and caregivers are welcome! No registration required - just come along.

Saturday & Sunday, 2pm - 3:30pm | Diwali Crafts

Celebrate Diwali with fun crafts for the whole whānau! No registration needed - just come along.

Sunday | Nokshi Kotha

Nokshi Katha is a traditional Bengali embroidery style, handcrafted by groups working together on a single piece of cloth. Due to modern industrial techniques, this communal practice has become increasingly rare.

Join our workshop to learn the unique stitches of Nokshi Katha and contribute to a collective embroidery piece. The workshop, "Nokshi Kotha" (which means "Embroidery Talk"), aims to revive and teach this beautiful communal art form.

Registration is required—email [email protected] or speak to one of our staff to secure your spot!
