This workshop is designed for participants of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced ceramic enthusiasts.
Artisan ceramicist Cobi Bosch will lead you every step of the process. You will hand sculpt the clay and then decorate and finish. You will leave having made and decorated three gorgeous ceramic pieces to be proud of.
The Jugs n Mugs workshop is an opportunity to explore various techniques experimenting with textures, shapes, and surface treatments. Whether you prefer a sleek and modern design or a rustic and organic feel, this workshop will bring your creative ideas to life. In the clay jugs n mugs workshop, you can express your artistic potential as you sculpt, mould and decorate three extraordinary ceramic pieces to enjoy. Join us and discover the art of working with clay!
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN & MAKE:
- Fundamentals of hand-building including proportion and balance techniques with moulding, and trimming
- How to make functional items for your home which are visually appealing and usable.
- You will make and decorate one pouring jug and two drinking vessels
THINGS TO KNOW:
- All materials and equipment is provided for the clay jugs n mugs workshop.
- Please allow a few weeks for your pots to be ready for collection. Our kilns work for a lot of classes and workshops and have limited capacity.
- Please wait for us to email you, if we haven’t emailed you then your items are not ready for collection.
- If you do not collect your pieces within one month of receiving the email, we reserve the right to dispose of them. We have limited space to store uncollected items.
