Kicking off late afternoon & leading into a warm summer’s evening, there will be plenty on offer at the Barfoot & Thompson Twilight Summer Night – whether it’s out on the track or from around the bar.

Racing’s answer to 20/20 cricket, the night promises six thrilling races run back-to-back, providing the perfect backdrop to what’s easily Auckland’s favourite end-of-year celebration.

It’s also racing as the sun goes down and that means get set to party – particularly after the horses have gone home to bed and our friends Sweet Mix Kids get things cranking at the infamous Birdcage Bash.

And for those with a keen eye for style, the Tan in the City Style Spotter Award will see one lucky person win a fabulous prize pack – so long as they’re the one deemed best dressed by public vote post-event.

This event is always a hot ticket, known for its vibrant crowd and unmatched people-watching from any of the evening’s buzzing hospitality precincts.
