Head up to the sixth floor of Smith & Caughey's timeless Roy Lippincott building and explore ROW, an immersive holographic audio-visual installation brought to Tāmaki Makaurau by international media arts collective TUNDRA.
ROW makes data interactive. From mathematics to the twelve notes of the chromatic scale, all forms of data become pictures floating in the air as they're converted into messages and voices.
This is a world where bits and bytes of information become symbols that combine with words, adding up to sentences that are transformed to translate ideas into tangible artforms.
Suitable for all ages and absorbed in 30-minute sessions, ROW is a perception bending audio-visual experience that challenges everything you thought you knew about information, language and dialogue.
After touring the world to critical acclaim, award-winning ROW makes its Australasian debut at Smith & Caughey's Grand Hall where this dazzling installation promises to mesmerise and hypnotise!
