The much loved UK rock band have had number one albums, sell out practically all their shows, and play festival headline sets around the world. Spark Arena will be transformed into a club style room, with the audience experiencing the epic show from the arena floor.
Their most recent album CRAWLER, which was nominated for ‘Best Rock Album’ Grammy, contained the buzzsaw urgency that their now global fanbase had come to expect, but expanded its sound with more melodic and introspective songs. IDLES’ energy on stage is unlikely anyone else and they are bound to bring the heat to Spark Arena.
Part of Elemental Nights, this is an exclusive curated concert series that also showcases an impressive line-up of local talent including Bic Runga alongside international artists Tove Lo and Loyle Carner.
Elemental AKL is a mid-year festival that will transform Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s most iconic venues and hidden gems into temporary works of art, giving people a chance to experience a line-up of world class entertainment right on Auckland’s doorstep.

Spark Arena is 10-15 minutes by foot to the city centre and Britomart Station, which is on all major bus routes.

Taxis and rideshares can be hard to come by directly after an event. If not using public transport, book your ride in advance and choose a pickup spot a few blocks away from the arena.
